MRL Elevator scheme

There are many types of elevators. Naturally, we cannot manufacture and install all types. For 30 years, there has been a trend towards electric elevators without a machine room or MRL (Machine room-less). Of course, they also have their limitations, but for buildings up to 12 floors, they are the best comprehensive solution for the following reasons:

  • Energy efficient
  • Capacity from 300 to 3000 kg
  • No machine room required
  • Minimum shaft pit depth 500 mm
  • Optimal shaft pit depth 1500 mm
  • Minimum shaft headroom height 3400 mm
  • Optimal shaft headroom height 3600 mm
  • Maximum speed up to 1.6 m/sec
  • Optimal speed 1 m/sec
  • Possible through-car configuration at 90° and 180°

Gearless synchronous motor, controlled by a frequency inverter. These motors ensure smooth operation with minimal noise and vibration levels.

The gearless design guarantees long trouble-free operation. The main problem of old asynchronous motors, namely the gearbox, has been eliminated. The motor is practically "eternal" because, besides the absence of mechanical friction parts, it is reliably protected by the electronics that control it. In case of a power surge, the multi-stage protection of the electronics will activate first and protect the motor.

  • Security system and emergency functions
  • GSM communication and telediagnostics
  • Designed according to EN81-20, EN81-50 and other standards

Operational advantages over hydraulic elevators:

Significantly easier maintenance. One of the most problematic parts of hydraulic elevators is the hydraulic cylinder. Replacing a long and heavy hydraulic cylinder in a narrow shaft is a major "adventure".
